Destruction

“On that Day you will be brought to judgement and none of your secrets will remain hidden.”

Quran 69:18

Destruction is intriguing. One can spend years, decades even, building something and at any moment threats in the form of natural disasters, coincidences, bad luck, or human interference can destroy what took great amounts of time and effort to build.

Let’s say you invested an exuberant amount of resources into a certain desired outcome. Let’s say you did your best to plan for unforeseen harmful outcomes but still ended up being the victim of a negative circumstance that blocked your intended end goal. Does this mean all your labor was in vain and your work was completely wasted? On the contrary, the seeds we sow in life are our karma and the destruction sent our way that has nothing to do with the seeds we’ve sown are only a reflection of the energies connected to that destruction; not a reflection of what our sacrifices were worth.

The good thing about it is blessings can come from anywhere. Just as life can sometimes hand over unexpected destruction, life can also offer bountiful harvests in areas one hasn’t even sown. If you’ve ever been a victim of unfair destruction, remember today to keep your faith in tact. The universe is balanced enough to bless you in accordance to what is just and fair.
